sez, word on the street is that i may be biased towards my own taste in music. however, i feel that by coming around to animal collective, broken social scene, and belle and sebastian as of late, your taste in music can only improve.

Appologies for my stupidity, but I'm confused. Can only improve?.. you like all those bands right... so according to your music taste what should it be improving too?
Also, I didnt really "come around" to those bands, that make it sound like i heard them before and didnt like them, but i like them now, whereas thats not the case, i've just been going on sprees of randomly downloading bands ive never heard of, by putting in a band i like on amazon.com, and downloading the "people who bough this also bought...." music.

yeah, sorry for the confusion. i was just saying that adding those bands to your listening repertoire will eventually lead to further exposure to their music as well as other associated bands that are worthwhile

castro, i don't own any animal collective. the chef i used to work under played their stuff in the kitchen during prep hours quite a lot. he had pretty excellent musical tastes and got me involved in a lot of good music.
i'm listening to !!!. i just got my album back from my brother...he had it stashed away for about 7 months, so it's good to be reunited.

he sounds alright, sez. i would kill to be able to write a simple acoustic song and be content with it...i think that Aeroplane over the Sea is my inspiration for one day writing a song and actually keeping it. on that note, Neutral Milk Hotel is a band you've got to look into on the new music kick if you're not already familiar with them.

para...how did they play this live? did adam jones use a loop pedal or did maynard play guitar during the break down? both guitar parts that are on the album are on this live version, and i've been wanting to know.
