I've always thought A Thousand Faces would work, or Cicatrix, even though that's the Mars Volta.

Actually I just found out that Cicatrix is a death metal band, so that rules that name out.

And speaking of ATDI cover bands, if anyone lives in the Seattle area and wants to jam, I'd be more than happy to...I always have difficulty finding people who are enthusiastic about playing music. It wouldn't just be a cover band, but I think that would be a good starting point, especially if we could capture the energy of their live performances, which would require finding a super badass frontman.

I would love to If I lived in seattle. I play the drums, been playing for 6 years and still loving every minute of it. Utah is a hard place to find ppl that like the type of music i like to play. I have been in 2 bands and they all were pretty pathetic. First one was a play fucked up things that didn't make since. Second was one day thing that they just wanted to play 3 chord punk at fast as possible. After that day me and this other kid left and were going to start another band but that never happened. If anyone is from Utah and would like to jam let me know. jassaw@hotmail.comI am serious about this and would like to have a good band that will make sound that is unique and shocking all at the same time.
