i know it's ATD-I blasphemy, but i'm god, so it's cool. ATD-I was close to perfection, but this song i do not really care for. it actually annoys me. it's also on my most "favoriteist"(misspelled on purpose?) album too.
hourglass - OFF OF IN/CASINO/OUT
i'm sorry, i've just never felt the music..the words are cool tho....
i dare you to reply to this thread........................

You dont like Hourglass paranoid??? I think its one of the best songs on I/C/O (Lopsided is the best). In/Casino/Out is your favorite album, huh? RoC has to be mine. I dont think Vaya gets much respect either, it was definately their most experimental and progressive work. 198d is one of the best.

Speechless probably, I like the shouting at the end but man the lyrics are shit for ATDI and it's so simple.

i really don't cokes..i just don't like the music. it's so non-atdi-ish. i think this one song actually throws off the album.
hey heatdj, sleepwalk capsules? that's an awesome jam. but hey, to each his own, right?

Yeah, "Hourglass" definately isnt ATD-I like, but thats why I like it soo much. Its nice to take a short break from all the intensity of At The Drive-In and have a slow jam like "Hourglass." Then it kicks right into "Transatlantic Foe," nothing better.

no way sleepwalk capsules is one of the best songs from roc in my opinion... "atop this podium built of fixation/all utensils fixed on you....." i agree the body of the song isnt the most catchy jingle out there... but the chorus just seems to hook me... hrmm least fav album and song... i cant say theres an album i dont like... altho vaya/orgo are just too d**ned short... and ya.. non-zero is the only song i ever skip over

My least favorite is probably "A Devil Among the Tailors." Not that I hate it, but it's never been a memorable song for me.

I don't know what everyone is talking about. Everysong mentioned on this thread is amazing in its own way. How can you skip non-zero? Its so amazing. "drawn and quartered pets". Just imagine drawing and quartering a dog... it makes the song gold. If you don't get the song read the lyrics very closely...i mean really closely...Spacewalk capsules.... one phrase..."highchair crumbles like a draft from outside" need i say more. The complexity of what cedric says in these songs is more than enough to pay them respect. Hourglass is another example of how all of atd-i's experiments always turn into gold. No body can dis a devil among the tailors. Any song that has "tomorrow there is silence for the deaf" in spanish screamed in it is an instant classic. You guys just don't understand that every atd-i song is amazing in its own way.

If i have to pick a worst atd-i song i would prolly be chanbara. It just isn't up there with the rest of their music.

I don't hate the song, but I just haven't been able to get into "Bradley Smith"... I'll find myself humming/whistling it when I'm out, one of those songs that'll be one of my faves in a month or two

...ok ok ok...i think i finally figured out my least favorite at the drive-in song...and it's..."paid vacation time"...i was listening to acrobatic tenement on my way to prom the other day and i said, "you know what, i think this is my least favorite atdi song"...so there, after weeks of denying that i have a least favorite atdi song, i found it...
