I was in love with my best friend for 5 years, she was everything to me. I finally gathered up the courage to tell her I loved her. I told her everything, no details of how I felt were left unsaid. She said "it's not what God wants for me." She broke my heart. I died tonight.

you always hear about these kinds of situations... I was kinda in a similar one, but I decided to let my feelings go and just keep her as a friend, but it is hard to surpress your feelings and just go on like you just wanna be friends. sorry, man.

dont blame me for this suggestion cuz i've never been in such a situation as this
but when i've been hung up over something, i play my guitar for ages mournfully and it helps. find something like poetry, art or music so you can express your feelings and vent them

my cousin from arizona/italy...wherever (armed forces husband) said "fuck her...her loss..find another broad...."....that pretty much put me in shape...life is too short to cry for more than a week....stay strong..i am..

Thanks for the support MP, you're a class act! It sucks though, cuz she was very serious about the God thing, she's very devoted to her faith. I do hope she's happy, but damn that hurts like hell. I told her everything, I laid it all on the line, and she showed no emotion the whole time, and I was fucking bawling. Shit, life is hard.

yeah, but you gotta think, Tremulant, do you really want to be with someone that acts dead to emotions? If you were crying about it, she should at least given you a bloody fucking hug. You know what I mean? Just look at that way. She didn't even care that you poured your heart out to her.....that's fucking low.
