i have to give an informative speech, 5-6 minutes long for my public speaking class, and i have no fucking idea what to talk about. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

i would consider myself to be a fairly decent public speaker, and the best advice i can give you is don't look to others for your topics. if you are going to give a 5-6 minute speech, you can go ahead and assume that you are going to trip up a few times, and when that happens, you don't want to be left dumbfounded in front of your audience. choose either a topic that you are already familiar with and would be able to pull off any necessary impromptu coverups or a topic that you are truly interested in to the point of investing enough time to comprehend it in order to talk from your knowledge of the subject, not from a pre-written speech on a piece of paper.
...also, don't use really long run-on sentences like the one i just wrote...you'll be winded half way through.

watch it, kyle...you are getting out of hand. there are two things that you should keep in mind, should your insults continue. the first being that I know where you live. the second? i have a plethora of those little spongey dinosaurs that grow exponentially in size when water is added.
you just wait until i figure out how to come up with a large abundance of water and we will see how you fair against my loyal brigade of prehistoric ass-kickary!
