i'm not going to say atdi because i don't think they could have gotten any better; i say this because i no longer like tmv and sparta just keeps getting more and more blah
i would have liked to have heard another release from q and not u, though i'm thinking it would have turned into a dance party (but i'm in favor of dance parties)
bear vs shark were so promising, so rockin', so different...i wish they would have continued (plus, awesome fucking live shows)
the plot to blow up the eiffel tower could do anything, but they decided to break off into a garage rock band (the vultures) and a more indie, boring band (the prayers)
missing score...mike decided to start over with better musicians under the name disasterology, and according to the new myspace, i'm not a part of the band (he wants actual singing, wtf)

I think Pockets is my fav Karate LP...that is sad...I think they were on top of their game i still like some boots the best, but you could tell that their song writing matured incredibly with pockets. they were definitely moving in a good direction...sad to see them go.

The fact that I am not Disasterology's anything (vocalist/dancer/whatever) at the moment has me quite bitter, so, please, let's bring back missing score.

The fact that I am not Disasterology's anything (vocalist/dancer/whatever) at the moment has me quite bitter, so, please, let's bring back missing score. man, they're turning emo. you don't want to be on the ship when it sinks man...anyways, start yer own shit. you were probably the only thing original thing from missing score. your lyrics were bad ass. fucking abstract and truthful. so stop bitching and get off yer ass. you should know the guitarist always wants to sing...anyhow, missing score, disasterology? who comes up with these?

they actually got the ex-lead singer from a somewhat well known chicago band. things are still developing though (three practices?). few people i know nowadays understands what i want out of a band. i don't know what to do really.

i'm with joe on this kyle, you've got style and vision and some mysterious burning ambition. i'm having similar(ish) problems with lots of the people i hang around. they all "want to be in a band" but they don't really, nobody is really motivated. its bullshit, i can't find anyone in this small town who has the same ideas, or the same drive. and imitators!! everywhere! not one of them is original, but they're so convinced. "oh i listen to buzz punk and new order, hardcore music is gay" but mentally theyre doing the same thing. theres only a few people here who are actually doing their own thing and are making moves to get there but they are really, really few and far between. does my rambling bullshit strike a chord (ha) with anyone? or am i completely a misled youth

dunno, i've never had any desire to be in a band. i'm all about the low key music just to improve social environment kind of vibe right now. basement jams and open mics are as far as i go. i guess i take music pretty personally, so i kind of like to keep it to myself.
bedroom rocker to the end?
