Nah. In the world of rock...
Pixies (there'd be no Nirvana or Weezer without them) Fugazi (like all good nineties hard punk)
Radiohead isn't all too influential just because it's too hard to try and pose as Radiohead. They're damn good, but they're not all too influential YET. I'd say:
Beastie Boys

I'm in line with Cokes here... Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead... I've noticed lots of bands trying their hands at imitaions of these bands, like Bush (Nirvana/SP), Collective Soul (SP), Coldplay (They didn't ripoff Radiohead, but they had a really similar sound with their Parachutes work), and Travis (not a Radiohead ripoff either, but they have a similar sound as well)... it doesn't matter much to me, though, It could be said that Nirvana is a Pixies and Beatles ripoff, Smashing Pumpkins are a Cheap Trick, Beatles and Jimi Hendrix ripoff, and that Radiohead borrows from the Beatles. It's all been done before.

The band that other bands definately try to be like is Nirvana. The Vines is all I have to say. Every song sounds like a Nirvana cover, they try way to hard. Also, we need more bands like Radiohead around. Music today isn't electic enough. Coldplay sounds like Radiohead a little bit, but not a whole lot. I love Coldplay nevertheless.

Da'bong is the way to go for me... most of the time, anyway. I heard there's a higher chance for lung cancer with da'bong, but it also has the highest THC retention rate... I feel like Mr. Wizard, heh... J's are fun, but they lose the most THC. Bowls are the best portable solution for me, but I usually don't have la hierba travel with me, I get stupid at school if I have some before, and I need every unit to transfer to Chico State.

Yeah, that's all my mom hears down in SoCal when she tells people where I'm going... I think I'll save the Kegstands for after I graduate, though... thanks to Governor Davis, I'll probably have to shell out quite a few pretty pennies for my classes. Doesn't mean I'll totally stay away from parties, though >=)

crazy story clearvampire,
i'm actually from socal myself. Santa Paula (in ventura county) just moved here a couple of years ago. HOT AS A MOTHERPHUCKER. but i got used to it, i think!
I didn't realize how spoiled i was in so cal until i moved here to fresno. but i visit socal frequently so it's cool. i make sure to visit the beach everytime i go. i hardly did when i lived there.

I dont know if Everclear are one of the most influential bands of the 90s, sorry vamp. I like "heartspark dollarsign" by them a lot. But still not one of the most unfluential, sorry bro
