If you like Montgomery, get yoself some Jimmy Smith. Hammond organ.
I can see your into Bop. Like Cool at all? Try Gerry Mulligan Quartet (pianoless, with Chet Baker).

Go out and BUY the cd reissues of Blue Train, A Love Supreme, Ole Coltrane.
Ah, right, more into 30s and 40s stuff? I'm more into 50s stuff.
But you will need a CD of Birth of the Cool before you can consider yourself a jazz fan at all.
Older stuf...Loius Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Charlie Christian?
