i downloaded a version of initiation off of winmx and i also have the cd acrobatic tenement. for some reason the downloaded version is waaaay better imo which is surprising since its usually backwards ex. my sparta downloads suck compared to the cd. anyway just wanted to share that since i only know 1 other atdi fan personally.

That's probably the re-worked session version of it they did as a b-side for Invaid Letter Dept. I haven't heard it myself but the AC version is one of my fave ATDI songs.

right david.. it's probably inition(lamacq version) slightly different from the AT version. better production and vocals are a little different. i enjoy them both. #nosmileys

wow.. the lamacq version of initiation is amazing. for some reason, i always thought the lamacq songs were like techno remixes, thats why i never downloaded them.... god damn im ignorant.

i own the invalid litter dept. single with the lamacq versions: initiation, quarantined, and take up thy stethoscope and walk...and the rolodex progaganda single has the one-armed scissor lamacq version, i don't have this, but i will soon...

The lamacq version is the best version. Initiation is my FAVORITE at the drive-in song.

i prefer the original initiation because the lamacq is too clean cut and produced. i like that sort of crappy recording sound but the version of quarantined is AMAZING and the same can be said about one armed scissor was take up thy stethescope and walk mixed by Steve Lamacq? i thought it was just a cover...  |
