I took my road test today and I failed because I slowed down at a blinking orange light, like youre suppose to do, and some asshole behind me started to beep at me. My instructor said that I should speed up, so I did and the asshole behind me passed me on the right!! My stupid instructor said I almost caused a major accident.. WTF?  Yeah, so I failed. FUCK THE DMV! How did the rest of you do on your road tests?? |

bro, i got phucking lucky. i had an appointment at like 11:30 in the morning. when we were driving out, the instructor's husband came by surprise to take her to lunch. so she wanted this test to end quickly. so she took me on a 2 minute ride and said i passed. i didn't have to park or nothing like that.

That sucks.... sounds like the instructor was a prick... you were slowing at a blinking yellow light like you were supposed to (like it says in the manual), it's not your fault somebody pissed in that a$5hole's Wheaties that morning... DMV sucks donkey

I failed my first time, I wouldn't worry about it. What helps a lot is driving the course before you take the test, that's what did it for me the second time around. And truth be told, your instructor does have a lot to do with whether or not you pass. It's not so much that my first one was an asshole, but my second instructor was extremely nice and made it explicitly clear she wanted me to pass and told me exactly what I would need to do if I wanted to. Though I even almost managed to fuck that up by nearly turning into oncoming traffic...oh well.
