This band Q and Not U reminds me a lot of at the drive-in and it helps fill that void on days when i wish there were more at the drive-in songs. I've listened to em all except probably there demo stuff. So check them out. I guarentee you'll like there album "No Kill No Beep Beep"

No I havent but I will check them out. I dont like Q and not U next album its like the lost the dischord. It was sorta like ATDI's jump to "Relationship of Command" it was so contruct even for the crazy stuff or maybe it was the lo-fi recording on there previous stuff.

"Lipgloss and Letdowns" is a good song by A Static Lullaby, but the rest of that album is bad...

Yeah New Noise is almost as good as anything on RoC. I wanna get The Shape of punk to come lots...
Q And Not U are a really cool band but I don't think they sound that much like ATDI

that's cool, cokes. i respect your opinion but i think it's a very good album. sure, no kill no beep beep is far more superior. but this album is a chameleon of all music. minus a 2nd guitarist, the Q-krew decide to make an"experimental" album. i guess it depends on the mood. i actually had to give it a couple listens before i started digging the album. certain songs still linger the sounds of nknbb I.E. so many animal calls, black plastic bag, and recreation myth. but i enjoy the kick back, punk groove of the slower more mellow jams. like air conditions, meet me in the pocket, and snow pattern. at first the xylophone or keyboards (i think) on soft pyramids throws you off, but this album IS a different type of genre. it sounds like everything and nothing at the same phucking time. and ian mckaye being the producer is also a plus..... so thank you for your time.

Anybody in here dig the band Live? Throwing Copper is a sick album, I recommend listening to "White, Discussion."
