damn, ya'll got most of em. i hate dashboard con-whiny-al with a passion.
i agree with all but one. i kind of dug the vine's album for a while. it got worn out, bbut they're not too bad. to damn commercial though, all their airplay makes them seem fake.
i quit watching mtv like last year. f*ck mtv.

I have the Vines album too, I like it. It's good music, so what if it sounds "too much" like Nirvana or the Beatles (as a lot of people criticize), at least they don't sound like Liza Minneli or the Captain and Tennile.

Yeah s.hit emo like dashboard confessional and saves the day is some of the worst music around.
Not a big fan of either The Hives or The Vines myself but I do like a lot of smaller garage rock bands like The D4, The Pattern, Burning Brides etc

I was gonna post mine but you've pretty much said all the really bad bands. It seems we are all in agreeance here. The Vines or The Hives don't deserve to be there, but maube for being the most genuinly average "Amazing" bands.

hives rule. ( their music is awesome, their excitement is way up there, and they are swedish. they wrote music lyrics in their second language. that takes some skill. )
vines suck. ( they just suck, so commericalized. the singer is looking for attention. )
