Nine Inch Nails coming out with a new album this febuary.....this girl at tower records swore that it was, yet i cannot find any info....they are due for another.....can anyone confirm this?

I don't know if the album is released in Feb, but they are due out with one some time this year. It's supposed to be much rawer and "non" protooled for whatever thats worth.

Non-protooled NIN should kick ass. I like NIN, but I haven't given the Fragile a listen yet... I think, at least on Downward and Pretty Hate Machine, that NIN sounded raw anyway... THey'd probably sound awesome analoged.

I should check that shit out, I've heard a lot of great reviews for it, I guess that's what I get for listening to the opinion of someone who's into Justin Timberlake and pop-type shit.

I'm a little confused, b/c from what I remember hearing he made it sound like the album was done and would be released the first half of this year, but according to the prp:

According to MTV, nine inch nails mastermind Trent Reznor is currently in Los Angeles, CA writing new material for the bands next album. Producer Rick Rubin (System Of A Down, The Mars Volta) will likely work with Reznor on the outing.
So it probably will be a while.
