I don't to vote for Kerry, and I wasn't going to, but I'm more on the fence now. I live a swing state, and I fucking really don't want it to go to Bush.Ahhh, the dilemma.

I'm registered Non-Partisan, and I have to say this: Other than the fact that John Kerry is not Bush, I don't have another reason to vote for him... luckily, that's enough reason... Somehow, when I think of Bush getting four more years, I remember the end of Genesis's "Land of Confusion" video when the puppet Reagan pressed the nuke button instead of the nurse button... Plus (referenced from Daily Show) did anyone else notice that Bush's podiums at the Convention had subliminal crucifixes on them? The giant presidential seal wasn't so subliminal, though.
Tell you what, though, if this election ends in a tie, I think they should have an impromptu spelling bee to decide the election. think about it...

Everybody in America that can vote, please sign up... I have the feeling if "middle class" America (yeah, what's that?) had any idea that voting for Bush equals losing their job, squat chance of seeing federal minimum wage up over $6.50 by the end of the decade, and the possibility that their loved ones could be sent to the hornet's nest of Iraq, they'd be drinking less beer, watching less NASCAR, and voting for a President that at least will cut the taxes proportionately. All that I ask is that whether you vote Kerry or Bush this November, please be informed on where they stand on issues, and what they mean to you directly. and by "informed" I mean getting your news from more than one source (especially if that one source claims to be "fair and balanced" while alienating fifty percent of the country and become an unrelening partisan soundboard for the President). And when all else fails... VOTE QUIMBY

I'm registered to vote here in the UK, but the funny thing is the US elections are being held on 2Nov, the day before I turn 18. I'm a US citizen so by next time I'll have registered to vote in the absentee ballot. And by next UK election I'll be voting for the first time. So I can vote in two places. Fun Fun Fun!

awesome, Bradley. Double citizenship probably makes up for being born a day late (my brother's in the same boat, turns 18 on Nov 4). My brother will have to settle for the new great American pastime, though: Not Voting.

i'm not voting--there isn't a candidate that speaks to me, and i'm an apathetic bastard...
i considered voting for nader, even though i don't really like him either, just to try to get him the 5% (or is it 10?) of the vote so he can get federal matching funds...
also, i'm not as informed as i should be, but i get really annoyed when people are so much against bush...no, i can't stand him either, but i've run into too many people saying they'd rather live in canada than live under 4 more years of bush...it just sounds so stupid...
also, i really can't complain about my position, a college student who is actually getting paid to go to school by the government...the government is working for me, i guess i just asked the right people...
