I'm not a Pantera or DamagePlan fan, but I have a lot of friends that are, and it's shocking that this could happen. (in case you haven't heard yet, some jackass went to a show in Ohio, shot Dimebag Darrell 4-5 times point blank, then killed three others before being taken out by a police officer). Senseless, stupid, and there's going to be a lot of sad metalheads and musiclovers today. 24 years to the day after John Lennon was shot... more than a little coincedence, I think. Anyway, yeah, just so surreal.

allegedly the guy who did it was pissed off about pantera not being together anymore. they said he was screaming something about pantera. wasnt much of a pantera fan but i no one deserves to die like that. rip dimebag

I definitely agree about the Lennon thing tho... i hate people that like a band so much, that when something bad happens to them, a crazed fan feels the need to kill them.
