this is a great idea! .. i have tried doing this at another message board .. but the majority of music i got was r&b and some other stuff i didnt really like that much ... but being in a board where WE PEOPLE have similar tastes in music this should be a good idea ...
i like this song .. it exceeded my expectations i give it 4 stars!!

well i liked bits of it but didn't like bits if you know what i mean so I'll give a breakdown of what i thought
intro - 3stars - started off with a really nice sound sorta similar to My Bloody Valentine but the drums and keyboard really ruined it for me
verse - 3stars - this is the sort of thing that i liked as a song but i wouldn't get the album.
chorus - 2stars - i wasn't too impressed with that flat he keeps on singing. to me it sounds very cliched but apart from that it wasn't bad
solo - 4stars - i liked this quite a lot. it was just a few simple notes but really effective
bear in mind I'm really critical with music. sometimes with my friends i really have to search for good things to say but thankfully i could be honest with this one

kk relax .. go do it .. when you wanna go do it .. relax .. go do it ... k ... i found this second song a bit boring ... like it was good .. but .. it was way repetetive ... i would give this band another chance maybe if the song wasnt so repetetive ... and i mean the beat was repetetive

"define worth waiting" .. that was way better than the Goldflesh song ... the beat was nice .. and the guys voice was nice as well .. i liked the little guitar riff in the back and the solo was neato!!

the godflesh one
not really my cup of tea to be honest. the genre, the style i really didnt like - i dunno it just got on my nerves
if i was to respond critically i'd say that the various parts worked effectively but it was drawn out way too much. if something is drawn that much out it should have a gradual change in mood but i didnt see that.
however the beginning and end i quite liked (probably cuz it didnt have the guitars at those points)

NEXT SONG BAND "TELEVISION" TITLE "MARQUEE MOON" ups and downs really. read all that if you can be arsed i loved the intro - that riff is really clever. but somewhere along the line i there was this run on this guitar that was really exaggerated and the song deteriorated from there until it went back to the first riff. then it went to the first solo and i thought that was neat but not that great. then there was this interlude which i liked. the solo which followed that was good to begin with then i dunno it just sorta lost what i liked about it. towards the end of that solo the drums sorta staggered - i thought that was cool. then it put the whole song into a simple beat - would have been good if it had ended on that but it didnt so it sounded crap. the bit that followed that was good tho. i liked that bit a lot. the end was....gay overall the song was good the way it progressed as a song |

Sorry bout taking so long to do this. Good idea here.
Aveo - Frostbitten : Nice little intro, good use of the old keyboards, and the lead guitar is ace. So the sound is good, but... vocals poor. Heard it so many times before. Chorus is absolutely awful. Might as well search them up, though.
Godflesh - Mantra: Are they that band that Marilyn Manson was/is managing? Heard a bit about them like 2 years ago. Yeah same industrial guitars as your man Manson or Rammstein. Not my stuff mate. Bit pointless. All the same innit?
TGN - Define Worth Waiting : I'm not such what the fuck that that lead guitarist thinks he's doing during the verses. Sort it out mate! This is a bit like the 1st song it that the vocal track is something I've heard too too much. It's not original or adding anything in that department. Drums, like the lead, are overstated. You've got pussy vocals interspersed with egotistical lead and 80s rock drumming. You're not QOTSA lads, give it up!
Television - Marquee Moon - What! Again! What the fuck is that lead guitarist doing in the verses?!! In any case it doesn't really matter because the vocals are shite. That little change right there in the break is the best bit. There the lead is the best bit. This is like a piss take of 70s shite rock or what?
Christ Para, I'm gonna have to go listen to some good music to rub this shite from my mind. That was fun anyway. again, again!
